Our MCITP: SQL 2008 R2 Administrator/Developer bootcamp is a very hands on environment. Our instructors guide you through step by step examples and demonstrations, not just long lectures. Your instructor will create real world scenarios for lab environments.
Click here for a complete bootcamp course outline in word format.
We are often asked... "How can you achieve certification with just a few days of training?" Certification Bootcamps is an accelerated learning environment. We take the Microsoft Training Materials - remove the unnecessary content and focus on the topics specific to certification. Our instructors use hands on demonstrations to bring test objectives to life. Students are completely immersed in the technology.
During our instructor led class hours - students are taught with interactive lectures, demonstrations and hands on labs. At the completion of the instructor led class time - students focus on study questions covering the topics of the day and looking over material to be covered the next day.
Bootcamp requires commitment to achieve success. Students work an average of 8 classroom hours with our interactive lectures, demonstrations and hands on labs. After class, students head back to the hotel for an average of 3 hours of self-study with our exam objective focused practice questions. Students have 24 hour access to their lab environment. Bootcamps may sound intimidating and students come with various levels of skill sets - however, they all find success if they commit to our program.
Our instructors explain technical concepts in a way students can see and relate to. No two students are alike - and our class is dynamic to cater to the needs of the students.
WE LIMIT OUR CLASS SIZES TO 12 STUDENTS - THIS ALLOWS FOR MORE ATTENTION FROM THE INSTRUCTOR, MORE SPACE FOR STUDENTS TO WORK AND MORE FOCUSED ENVIRONMENT.
We use Microsoft Courseware covering information specific to the exams. Additionally, our instructors are all certified as Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT). Several of our instructors also hold the premier Microsoft Certified Learning Consultant (MCLC) certification awarded only to MCTs who demonstrate real world consulting services to clients.
Prior to offering a bootcamp on our schedule - hundreds of hours are dedicated to
-- Constructing the content and layout of the course
-- Prepping the lecture materials
-- Developing, evaluating and testing labs
-- Researching additional resources to value add to the course
-- Studying and passing the corresponding Microsoft exams
We do this to provide our students with the very best training solution possible.
Our facilities are second to none. We use top end computer equipment - 20in monitors, cpu's with Intel Virtualization processors, 8 gigs (min) of memory. Students have executive chairs to ensure comfort for long bootcamp hours. Sudent desk allow plenty of room for student computer, personal laptop and book - each student has a large dedicated desk.
The campus is connected with a 150Mbs Verizon Fios Business Connection which provides a network open for internet access and VPN connections. We provide wired (CAT6) and wireless (b/g/n) connections.
Additionally, student break area has snacks including fruits, chips, baked goods and drinks. Our lounge area provides plenty of comfortable seating and
a 50in LED TV w/ Verizon Fios programming.
Students stay at Marriott & Hilton brand hotels which provide full suite amenities including flat panel tvs, microwave and refrigerator in every room. Students have access to 20+ restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
If you chose not to rent a vehicle - we provide all transportation between airport/hotel/campus. Within 50 yards of the hotels - you will find BoneFish Grill, 5 Guys Burgers & Fries, Urban Flats, Moes, Jersey Mikes, Lee Roy Selmons, Pei Wei, Carrabas, Stonewood Grill, Ruby Tuesdays and more.
What makes us different? Quality of training, state of the art facilities, newer equipment, better location and higher end lodging.
Facilities - Many of our competitors over-crowd classrooms by placing 2 to 3 students per desk. Often they try to extend the life of very old equipment with lag and slow performance on the software used today. Our facilities have the best equipment and provide the most comfort of any environment.

Instructors - Our CEO, Chester Flake holds one of the rarest Microsoft Certifications - the Microsoft Certified Learning Consultant (MCLC) Certification. This certification reflects our company commitment to make sure our instructors are also actively engaged in real world consulting projects.
Vendor Partnership - Our primary focus is teaching Microsoft Courses - as such we are proud to be recognized as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. This is the highest level offered.
When you get ready to register for a class - ask these questions -
Will you provide me the BIO of the instructor who will teach my course?
How many students will attend this course, do you have a upper limit you can guarantee?
What type of equipment will be used in class?
Where is the lodging, can you provide pictures of the area?
Get these answers from us and our competitors - we are confident you'll find us to have the answers you want to hear!
