• Monitor and optimize an analytics solution (30-35%): monitoring Fabric items, data ingestion, data transformation and semantic model refresh; configuring alerts; identifying and resolving pipeline, Dataflow Gen2, notebook, Eventhouse, Eventstream, T-SQL and OneLake shortcut errors; and optimizing Lakehouse tables, pipelines, data warehouses, Eventstreams and Eventhouses, Spark performance and query performance.

Because the three areas are weighted evenly, the week gives roughly equal lab time to building, securing and tuning, rather than front loading the ingestion work.
