• Operate VCF: cluster components and deployment options for VCF Operations, metrics versus properties, custom views, reports and dashboards, alerting and log events, monitoring health and diagnostics, networks, vSAN storage, applications, security hardening and compliance, plus configuration drift.

2V0-17.25 Prerequisites and Exam Format

There is no certification prerequisite, but Broadcom sets a clear experience bar for the VCP-VCF Administrator exam. You should have at least one year of IT experience, at least six months working with VCF or its individual components, foundational knowledge of Kubernetes, and general enterprise IT grounding across hardware, storage, networking, DNS, NTP and certificates. You should also be familiar with the VCF component set: vCenter, ESX, vSphere Supervisor, vSAN, NSX, VCF Identity Broker, VCF Automation, VCF Operations, VCF Operations for Logs, VCF Fleet Management, VCF Operations for Networks and VCF Operations HCX.
