On September 16th, 2014 – Microsoft in partnership with Pearson Vue announced the option for students to take Microsoft official exams completely online. Microsoft exam candidates can take the exam from their home or office – without visiting a test center.
The change to online testing will allow Certification Camps to offer a complete online solution for boot camps. In the past – students could attend the boot camp online – however – taking the exam required a local testing center. We will offer both MCSA Windows Server and MCSA SQL Server boot camps with complete online training and online certification exam testing.
The security of testing is still in place. Test candidates are required to have a web cam and microphone. The candidate will do a sweep of the room and self – and will be proctored / recorded during the entire test. The same rules are in place allowing for no other resources to be used. More restrictive rules are in place not allowing the student to take any notes or break (for any reason) during the exam.
Improvements include – exam results will post to the Microsoft learning portal immediately after your exam is complete. Also – you can take the exam with as little as 15 minutes notice from 10am till 10pm EST (based on availability).
The online testing is in beta and the specific Microsoft exams available for this are limited to –
